Busy summer

It feels like this summer has been busier than any other ever. Of course we picked up a new hobby to add to the other outdoor activities we have been doing, so I don't think that has helped. 

In every little free minute I've had I've been working on knitting projects and have even managed to make a crochet shawl. 

Dinner's have been simple affairs, meat with sides of potato, carrot or green salads. Nothing fancy, but filling the tummies. 

My attempt to start a second blog has completely failed, since I can't even keep up with this one, but the idea is still there. At least I have taken the first step and uploaded some photos to flickr. One step at a time.

Project list update:

• designed & completed 1 hat, and a second is OTN
• finished design & pattern for "gratitude shawl"
• designed shawl/blanket; need to knit on edging
• Finished an altered Rock Island
• A simple crescent shawl
• a couple more baby items on list
• socks for Ethan
• Couple more socks for presents
• cardi for Gabe
• cardi for Lela
• zigzag for Ethan

next design project is "Sunshine Shawl"
