Jane Fairfax secret swap package

I joined the "Jane Austen's Girls Swap" group on Ravelry and recently partook in the Jane Fairfax secrets swap.

Today, my parcel arrived - from Australia! :)

Look at all these goodies I received ...

There was Tea, coconut chocolate, wooden coasters with an Australia theme, a journal with recipes to keep my kitchen smelling spicy & delicious from the treats I could bake, and a gorgeous red & black yarn.

Furthermore there were a book & whoopee cushion enclosed for my sons enjoyment, as well as the book "Madeline" in French - so I can learn the language :)

I think my favorite piece, however is the hat. I LOVE that hat!

And the letter. Part of the requirement for the swap was to write a letter in a voice of a Jane Austen character. Mine was from Mr. Collins. It was done brilliantly.
