4KCBWDAY3 - Infographic
if I were to chart out how my time is allocated into work/chores/recreation and hobby I think it would look something like this:
not sure how realistic this is and I'm sure DH see it different :)
4KCBWDAY4 - Color review
I was really looking forward to this one. Because I recently sorted/organized my stash and was surprised at what I found. I always thought myself a green/red loving girl. But my stash contains a very equal color display. If you'd've asked me if I would buy yellow yarn, I'd say I HATE YELLOW. But none the less, I have a beautiful skein that is a yellow variegation. I keep thinking I hate the color, but ... actually I don't ...
and then look at those neutral colors. Again something I'd've never thought I'd buy ...
... so many possibilities ...
4KCBWDAY5 - Something a little different
... right now I have no ideas as to how to answer/post on this one ...
4KCBWDAY6 - a tool to covet
I am not sure if there's any specific tool that I am absolutely obsessed with. Yes, I love my little metal bunny scissors and my Chibi darning set with 3 different size needles.
I think the thing that I mostly love is my knitting location. 95% of my knitting is done here:
It is a big orange swively chair in a window that overlooks the front part of my garden. I sit here in the mornings, watching the light change from dark to the first glowing morning sun rays. I sit here in the afternoon, watching the shadows of the trees moving in the wind play across my lap. I watch the birds and the bees and the squirrels. Everything is green. I can catch a fresh breeze. In the evening the sun sets to the west and I am astounded at the colors of the sky. This is my little tranquil spot.
4KCBWDAY7 - looking forward
I have been trying to work only from stash this year and try numerous new skills/projects. I hope to have reduced my stash by at least 1/2, have made some stranded projects. Something with beads. A challenge.
Of course there will be more mountains to explore and I am determined to bring along some sock knitting and try my hand at these again.
... we will see ...
